Say YES to Life

Daily Inspiration: January 6, 2020

In a just a few days it will mark the first week of the New Decade, the New You.

Ask yourself: What do I stand for? What are my goals? What legacy do I want to create? How will my loved ones remember me?

By now most of you have written down your goals, but let's do a gut check on how you actually feel about those goals.

Do you feel at all discouraged because you are facing difficult obstacles? Do you feel your goals are too challenging? Or are you approaching them with a sense of joy, happiness, and positive expectations?

How you think and how you feel is what sends out an electromagnetic charge, a footprint if you will, that attracts (or detracts) your intentions back to you. What is this footprint? It is the Footprint of Faith.

Here is the Footprint of Faith in a nutshell: Lay your goals (thoughts) onto a foundation of a heightened feeling of expectancy (emotion) and it will come back to you sooner and better than you would have ever expected. The key is this - you have to have the Faith, that positive feeling of expectancy that it is all in God's capable hands.

We all go through difficult times. We all experience obstacles in our path - unfair situations, a bad break, unexpected hardship, loss of job, drop in health, our own Goliath, but rather than focusing on the negative, have faith that God has your back and is looking out for you.

Every life challenge is really life initiating you to step up into something better, something more expansive. It is a chance for you to open your heart and say YES to life.

Today, review what you see as your obstacles and have faith that behind the obstacle is something that will ultimately make you stronger. Ask yourself, "what else can this mean?"

Today, create a positive expectancy from a negative emotion. Every setback is actually an advantage - we just have to see it that way. As Shree Maa always reminds me - It is all God's grace.

Jai Maa!
